Philosophy of Change

The essence of positive change for an individual or couple includes an affirmation and a decision to think, feel and/or act differently.

This change process represents an active desire and commitment to appropriately understand and balance feelings, thoughts and behaviors. One's understanding of spirituality may be an integral part of this process.

Positive change may lead toward developing a more healthy regard for one's self and others.

"Psychotherapy" is a process in which the therapist encourages, and supports this process of positive change.
